Meet Ruaridh & Kirsty
This is the brother and sister combination behind this exceptionally high quality highland venison.
40 years ago, their father started sourcing and delivering award-winning venison to the world.
Now they are continuing that legacy and delivering straight to your door with Noble & Wild.
"At Noble & Wild, we believe venison isn’t just another cut of meat. It’s wild, lean, full of flavour, and one of the most natural, sustainable proteins you can eat. Most people don’t know where to start with it, and that’s why we’re here.
Our family has spent over 40 years working with the best wild venison in Scotland, and as brother and sister, we want to share what we love with you. This box is our beginning... simple, honest, and made with care. It’s not perfect yet, but that’s part of the journey. We’re learning, improving, and listening as we go. By trying our box, you’re helping shape something real - good for you, good for the planet, and genuinely delicious.

FAQs About Noble & Wild Venison Meat Box
How do you guarantee high animal welfare standards for your venison?
All our venison comes from wild red, roe and sika deer, ethically harvested in the Scottish Highlands as part of essential population management. These animals live freely in their natural environment — no enclosures, no feed lots, no antibiotics or hormones. Each carcass is inspected, handled, and processed to the highest standards of hygiene and traceability.
Can venison meat be frozen for later use?
Yes — in fact, every cut is blast-frozen within hours of butchery to preserve its freshness and flavour. You can safely store it in your freezer for up to six months. Once thawed, cook within 48 hours and do not refreeze.
Is your venison meat halal or kosher?
No. Because our venison is wild-harvested, it’s not certified halal or kosher.
Is your venison meat sustainably sourced?
Absolutely. Every box helps support conservation and biodiversity across the Scottish Highlands. Responsible deer management prevents overgrazing, protects woodland regeneration, and supports rural economies. We work only with trusted professional stalkers and accredited butchers.
Is the venison meat box delivered fresh or frozen?
Our venison arrives on your doorstop frozen to lock in peak freshness and prevent waste. This ensures that every cut reaches you in perfect condition, ready for the freezer or to defrost and enjoy. Should your meat arrive partially defrosted you can still put in it your own freezer and enjoy it at your own convenience.
How should I store venison meat at home?
After it arrives, keep your meat frozen until you’re ready to use it. Defrost slowly in the fridge overnight. Once thawed, cook within 48 hours and never refreeze.
Do I need to sign up for a subscription to buy the venison meat box?
Not at all. You can order a single box for £100 plus delivery. However, should you wish to subscribe, each box will cost £90 plus delivery. Subscriptions come with flexible delivery schedules and the freedom to stop anytime.
If I sign up for a venison subscription, am I tied into a contract?
No. You can pause, skip, or cancel your subscription whenever you like through your online account. There are no hidden fees or long-term commitments.
Will I receive the same venison cuts in every venison meat box?
Not necessarily. The core box weight remains the same (2.3kg), but cuts may vary slightly each month as we only select the best meat based on what we feel you deserve and passes our strictest quality reviews. You’ll always receive a mix of high value cuts plus a recipe card containing QR codes for lots of inspiration.
When is payment taken for my venison meat order?
For one-off orders, payment is taken when you place your order. For subscriptions, payment is taken five days before dispatch so we can prepare and schedule your delivery.
When can I make changes to my venison subscription order or delivery frequency?
You can make adjustments to your next box - skip, pause, or change frequency - up until five days before delivery. After that, your order is locked in while we prepare your meat.
Why can’t I change my venison order less than five days before delivery?
Getting your box to your door requires a lot of forward planning. This five-day window ensures we can harvest, pack, and ship efficiently while avoiding waste.
How do I know when my next venison subscription order will arrive?
You’ll receive reminder emails ahead of each dispatch and a tracking link once your box is on its way.
Can I cancel my venison subscription at any time?
Yes. You’re in full control. Cancel your subscription online at any time — we simply ask for three months to show you why wild venison is nature’s finest protein and so versatile for your cooking needs. We just need you to tell us five days before your order goes out.
Do I need to sign up for a subscription to order venison online?
No — you can make a one-off purchase or choose a flexible subscription. Subscriptions offer better value and convenience but aren’t required.
How often will I receive my venison subscription order?
You can choose delivery within our operational delivery slots. Adjust the frequency anytime in your account.
What payment methods do you accept for venison orders?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay for one-off orders.
Why is the venison meat box cheaper with a subscription?
Confirmed subscription volumes allow us to plan harvests and logistics efficiently, reducing waste and ensuring a fair return for our Highland suppliers. In return, we share that saving with you through a lower price per box.
When is payment taken for my venison order?
Payment is taken when you place a one-off order, or five days before each subscription delivery.
Can I choose a delivery time for my venison meat box?
We can’t guarantee an exact time slot – it will be delivered to your doorstep – or at the safe space of your choice (if you are going to be out). Deliveries typically arrive between 8am and 8pm.
What happens if I am not home to receive my venison delivery?
No problem. Our insulated packaging keeps the contents frozen for several hours. You can also include a safe place instruction when ordering the box on our website to help the driver deliver safely when you are not home.
How is venison packaged to stay fresh during delivery?
Each box is packed in recyclable insulation. It’s designed to maintain a safe temperature during transit — so your venison stays chilled until you return home. It will leave the Highlands at -18C. We will be launching our service with an ambient supplier which may mean your meat will arrive partially defrosted – which is perfectly normal - and if this happens you can still put in it your own freezer and enjoy it at your own convenience.
What happens if my venison meat box takes more than 24 hours to arrive?
Should your box take more than 24 hours to arrive, and your meat has completely defrosted (soft to touch and warm to feel) then you should contact customer service for advice on what to do.
What is the delivery charge for the venison meat box?
Delivery is £6 per box, whether one-off or subscription. This covers reliable, temperature-controlled transport direct from our Highland butchers to your door.
On which days do you deliver venison across the UK?
We deliver 7 days a week within the M25 area. You’ll receive tracking updates once your box leaves us.
What should I do with the packaging from my venison meat box?
Everything we use is recyclable or reusable. Cardboard can go straight in your household waste. Our recycling liners are biodegradable.
Is there anywhere in the UK you don’t deliver venison to?
At launch, we’re only delivering within the M25. Enter your postcode on the website to confirm coverage, and if not yet covered, please sign up to be notified as we would love to tell you when we expand nationwide.
What happens if I am not satisfied with my venison order when it arrives?
